Rappelz Online - The Witch Strikes Back

In a shadowy corner of Katan, three gloomy robed figures converged.

"Greetings, sisters," Zyrexia hissed. "Glory to the Dark One."

"Glory to Her," the others echoed.

"The hunt for eggs has not been going as planned," Zyrexia said. "Those cursed agents of the Light have been interfering. Too many of our precious eggs have fallen into their hands."

Delra murmured, "We must do something. The Dark One does not take kindly to failure."

"But what?" Trin asked. "We are forbidden to attack them! What else can we do if people will choose mere bread and water over the Dark One’s gifts?"

Zyrexia pulled a small moon rabbit egg from her robes and held it up before her. The white shell of the egg had veins of glistening black covering it. It radiated evil. Trin smacked her lips.

"What can we do to entice people to give us these precious gifts?" Zyrexia pondered.

Delra plucked the egg from Zyrexia’s grasp. "I have an idea," she said, her voice raspy and quiet. "If the gifts of the Dark One are not enough, we will find something more. Something they will not be able to refuse. And I know just what we can give them."

Trin cackled with delight. "The moon rabbit eggs will be ours!"

"Yes," Zyrexia hissed, and snatched her egg back. "The Dark One shall have her revenge!"
